Mike GoforthSenior PastorMike Goforth was born to Ray and Judy Goforth in Pontiac, Michigan in 1962. At a very young age, Mike understood his separation from God and his need for a Savior through family devotions as well as the Bible teaching and preaching he had experienced at Rochester Hills Baptist Church. As a five year old boy Mike knelt down by his bed and prayed, asking Jesus to forgive him of his sin and come into his heart and save him. It was only a few years later that Mike felt God's calling on his life to preach. After graduating from high school, Pastor Mike attended Midwestern Baptist College and continued to serve the Lord at his home church of Rochester Hills. It was there that he met his wife Charisse, and after receiving his B.A. in Pastoral Ministries, they married in 1985. Over the next 10 years, Pastor Mike served the Lord as a youth pastor in both Connecticut and Ohio and he and Charisse had four children. In 1995 he became the Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Caseville.

Mike FrancavillaAssistant PastorMike was not introduced to the gospel until later in life. When he was 16, he started coming to church because he was interested in Andrea, the Pastor's daughter. However, he got more than he bargained for and after hearing God's Word preached, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.
In 2010 he graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies. The summer after college Mike married his girlfriend of 8 years, Andrea Goforth, and they felt it was God's will for them to stay in Caseville and minister here. Mike and Andrea have four sons: Ethan, Gabriel, Caleb, and Isaiah. |
